This Privacy Policy explains how Modularity Labs ("Senchal", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit senchal.io (the "Site"). We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA") and, until fully in force, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the SPDI Rules, 2011.

Short version: We collect your name and email when you download the playbook or book a demo. We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how people find us. We don't sell your data. Ever.

Who is responsible for your data?

Modularity Labs, Hyderabad, Telangana, India is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this Site.

What data we collect

Data you provide directly

Playbook download: your name and work email address, collected via the download form.
Demo booking: your name, email, and any answers you provide in the Calendly booking form (team size, current tools, pain points).
Email replies: any information you share when you reply to emails we send.

Data collected automatically

Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site — pages visited, time on site, traffic sources, and general location (country/city level). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel: we use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of any advertising we run and to build audiences for future campaigns. The Pixel may collect your IP address, browser information, and pages visited.
Standard web data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and timestamps — collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure.

How we use your data

To deliver the playbook PDF to your email address.
To send you follow-up emails related to the playbook and Senchal (you can unsubscribe at any time).
To confirm and manage your demo booking.
To understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it.
To measure the performance of our advertising campaigns.

Legal bases we rely on

Consent: when you submit the playbook download form or book a demo, you consent to us contacting you.
Legitimate interests: to run, secure, and improve the Site and our marketing — balanced against your rights.
Legal obligation: where applicable law requires us to retain or disclose data.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). By using the Site, you consent to the use of these technologies.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.

How we share your data

We share your data only with service providers who help us operate the Site and deliver our services. These currently include:

Google — analytics and email (GSuite)
Meta — advertising measurement
Calendly — demo booking
Email delivery providers — to send you the playbook and follow-up emails

All service providers are required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.

Data retention

We retain your email address and name for as long as you remain subscribed to our communications. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.

Security

We use TLS encryption for all data in transit and apply standard technical measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.

Your rights

Under applicable law, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data
Withdraw consent and unsubscribe from communications at any time
Object to certain types of processing

Children

This Site is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
